Extinction and Non-extinction of Solutions to a Fast Diffusion p-Laplace Equation with Logarithmic Non-linearity

This paper deals with a class of fast diffusion p-Laplace equation with logarithmic non-linearity in a bounded smooth domain with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. By using energy estimates and some ordinary differential inequalities, we study the conditions on extinction and non-extinction of global solutions. The results of this paper extend and complete the previous studies on this equation.

Stabilization for Schrödinger Equation with Internal Damping and Boundary Disturbance

In this paper, the stabilization for Schrödinger equation subject to internal damping and boundary disturbance at the control end is investigated. Due to its immeasurability, the nonlinear observer system is designed to obtain the state information, and the existence of weak solution and its convergence for the nonlinear observer system are proved. The feedback control is realized by the backstepping transformation. In addition, the adaptive disturbance rejection control is applied to estimate the disturbance. According to the observer and disturbance estimation, the feedback control is finally designed to stabilize the system asymptotically.

Imitative Collaboration: A mirror-neuron inspired mixed reality collaboration method with remote hands and local replicas

Mixed reality can overlay and display 3D digital content in the real world, convey abstract concepts to users, and promote the understanding of complex tasks. However, the abstract graphics overlaid on the physical space may cause a certain cognitive load for local users and reduce the efficiency of collaboration. To improve the efficiency of remote collaboration, we conducted an elicitation study on assembly tasks, explored the user needs for collaboration, and defined the design goals of our remote collaboration method. Inspired by the mirror-neuron mechanism, we present an imitative collaboration method that allows local users to imitate the interaction behavior of remote users to complete tasks. We also propose a series of interaction methods for remote users to select, copy, and interact with the local point clouds to facilitate the expression of collaboration intentions. Finally, the results of a user study evaluating our imitative collaboration method on assembly tasks are reported, confirming that our method improves collaboration efficiency while reducing the cognitive load of local users.

High-performance Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbZrO3-PbTiO3 ceramics with the triple point composition

Ternary 0.552Pb(Ni_1/3Nb_2/3)O₃-xPbZrO₃-(0.448-x)PbTiO₃ (PNN-PZ-PT) ceramics near the triple point compositions were fabricated by an improved two-step sintering method. The triple point composition 0.552PNN-0.135PZ-0.313PT ceramic has outstanding piezoelectric performance with piezoelectric coefficient d₃₃ = 1200 pC/N. Its easy fabrication and low cost make this piezoelectric material an excellent candidate for high sensitivity sensors and ultrasonic transducers. The evolution of domain structures for ceramics with composition near the triple point provides deeper insight into the mechanism of ultrahigh piezoelectric properties of PNN-PZ-PT ceramics.
